I'm not from Belfast but we went to Pat's bar with friends and it was fantastic!! Service was excellent, good atmosphere and the locals were really friendly!!! Highlight of my night was meeting a ghost outside the door of the pub. Whilst outside a man in his forties, dressed in black appeared close to me out of nowhere. I proceeded to ask "where the hell did you come from?" and didn't even finish the sentence when he disappeared in front of my very eyes.....I was totally FREAKED out and ran back into the bar. It's well worth a visit for the craic but also to see if you can meet this strange visitor........

thought the bar was relaxed and friendly although it could do with a good lick of paint and a good clean but the customer service was excellent and the atmosphere made up for the lack of decor, would definatly go back again, maybe i might get to meet pat next time!!!!
