Really is a great bar for all things- if just stopping in after a long shop for quick drink/ food or a saturday night out or pint with colleagues after work. Excellent drinks selection and very decent customer types and staff are good also.

On the 24th of september there will be a guinness promotion in The Garrick Bar. There will be a set up of the NEW guitar hero and you have a chance to play and win prizes also free guinness, yep thats right you read it right FREE. So why not come along and join in on Arthur Guinness day, and celebrate the 250th birthday of Guinness??

Great to find an original unspoilt victorian pub in city centre with very friendly staff and great food too! Loved the trad music.

Good bar, good selection of beers. Generally good clientelle. back room disco is too busy for me. bar snacks are good and the upstairs room is a good venue for work outings. (didn't part-take in the pickled egg challange)

Rude manager, place was nearly empty and had a funny smell to it.

Will not be returning thanks to that cheeky little man.

Great bar great food, the staff are on the ball and the manager knows what he is doing. I am unsure about that Aussie weirdo though, I think he is way too efficient possibly hung around too many bars!

Garrick Pub, more like Garrick resturant.

This is more than just pub grub. This is some of the finest wholesome local dishes to get tucked into with a bunch of hungry friends.

The big Swiss cheese burger served with crunchy home made chips and tomato ketchup is a a true king amongst burgers. Finely prepared with prime irish beef.

Smoked Haddock with leak mash pie, served with thick slices of wheaten bread, combines all the flavours reminiscent of a dish at a much more expensive seaside establishment in Carlingford.

The staff are efficient, polite and friendly. Good atmosphere.

8.5/10.

Will be back soon!

Really nice pub. Even better since it's "makeover" in 2006. Now has the look of a "Trad Irish" place, but not overdone. Also good that its a City Centre Bar not overrun by tourists (yet?).

Highly recommended. Food is top quality as well.

Popular with Business Types. Busy at lunchtime, but a haven of peace most afternoons.

A place to hide with a pint and the free newspapers the Bar provides for customers.

A great wee bar, good atmosphere and good traditional music on a saturday night. The crowd are unpretentious unlike those you can get in too many bars in Belfast (The Cloth Ear, Apartment etc.) Friendly staff and more importantly damn fine measures...:)

Will definitely be back.
