Was always one of my favourite places to eat in Belfast, until about a month ago. I was so disappointed with the food, our steaks were just pure fatty cheap cuts of meat, potatoes looked and tasted like they had been cooked about 5 times over, and the veg was cold and tasteless. Could not fault the service, the manager was actually embarrassed by the food and was extremely apologetic and offered us complimentry drinks. Definately will not be back.

Nice ambience, friendly staff. We had limited time and mentioned this as we went in. We restricted ourselves to a single course and were assured time would be not problem. Unfortunately it was and the service was slow. Worse was to come. The main dishes, lamb and hake, could not be described as other than flavourless. When asked we were honest with our appraisal and the staff could not have been better, including Nick himself who happened by, put his hand up, and refused to give us a bill. Full marks for a situation well handled but the meal was a dissapointment.

Greatly disappointed with the meal we had, my husbands steak was served to us on a dirty plate. We pointed this out and they just cleaned the edge and brought it back! I thought a fresh plate would have been better! We were made to feel as if our comments were unecessary. No reflection of this was offered in the bill or so much as an offer of a free coffee!

If you request the Skate Wings be prepared to get only one. I was disappointed to see one - only half a fish.

The food quality was okay, but I believe very over-priced so would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
