what have they done to the old welly nite club went on sat nite with girls from work mixed age group for drinking and dancing NO NITE CLUB NOW ITS LIKE A SCHOOL DINNER HALL WITH A FEW TABLES AND ABOUT 10 CHAIRS PUSHED AGAINST THE WALLS NO ATMOSPHERE CRAP MUSIC LEFT AFTER 10 MINS PITY WE DIDNT REALIZE IT HAS GONE TO THE DOGS BEFORE BOOKING OUR XMAS DINNER DOORMANS JOB NOW SEEMS TO BE GIVING TIPS TO PUNTERS WHERE TO GO AS THEY ARE LEAVING

not the best bar, but by no means the worst either. friday night a bit sedate, but saturday night brings the throngs (and thongs, hmmmm) and sees the age spectrum from 16 (how did they get in) to 60 (why did they get in)!!! this reminds me of the beckham joke: victoria says to david, "do you like my new thong?" to which david replies, "i didn't know you could thing." boom boom. getting a drink can be problematic and beware minesweepers at the long bar. from a bloke's point of view there's plenty of women, although quite a few are mutton dressed as lamb; could someone tell the big fatties not to wear tight clothes or let their beer bellies hang out? there are plenty of more svelte women as well, so they probably balance each other out. be sure to take full advantage of the waiting staff if you don't like queueing and don't forget to tip! just one word of caution - beware mechanised vehicles in the lounge area...
