The Venue is situated off Great Victoria Street within five minutes walking distance of Great Victoria Street Bus & Train Station. Although mainly a rock/metal/indie club the venue does also hire out nights to interested parties (contact e-mails on website).

The venue has had a revival of late and has been offering some of the hottest promotions in Belfast City Centre including; buy one get one free on various top brand name drinks, £1 a drink promotions which have proved a major sucess and various other brand orientated promotions.

Fridays at the venue are under 18's nights and alcohol free! They offer anyone between the age of 12 and 17 a lively and fresh club atmosphere playing the latest music from the alternative scene right back to good old metal classics.

The venue has a dedicated staff who have been working with the under 18 clubbers and rockers for many years and pride themselves on, not only looking after all the patrons but also, teaching them how the club and pub scenes in belfast operate before they turn of legal drinking age. This hopefully will provide them with invaluable experiance when they decide to venture out for their first drink.

The current hours of operation are 6.30pm til 9.30pm

Saturdays are the Over 18's Metal, Rock and Indie night. They offer a relaxed atmosphere with some of the hardest and most underplayed music in Belfast. General admission is cheap and food is available all night. (Saving on those pesky carryout bills after a session)

All the staff are friendly, putting aside the formality of general bars, your guarenteed an honest answer from them along with alot of craic. This also shows on the moods and general enjoyment of the patrons proving that The Venue knows what the customer wants.

Hard to believe that this club is not bursting from the seems every night it's open.

General drink prices are £2.50 an alcoholic drink (mixers are general bar prices) and proves for an interesting and booze filled night.

Current hours of operation are 9.30pm til 2am.

Visit the website for more detailed information on various promotions being held at The Venue over the up and coming month.

The toilets are dirty, music is dated, drinks are limited and by the looks of things the same crowd has been going for about 20 years. And its £8 in.

the venue, albeit a small place, still has a huge capacity for a good night. the drink is cheap, the food is nice and the music is great! yes the toilets are covered in piss by about 11 but its easy to ignore when you've had a few to many cheap drinks...not the next morning though. it has to be said though, that the music is a bit limited and you hear a good few tracks week after week

if you're still enough to still have fun, even if its just in the heart - you'll have a great time!

just run around chatting to everyone and dancing about, its good fun and you meet lots of people. i've loved all my V experiences!

complete rip off voucher system for purchasing drinks! you have to buy these upfront and if you don't use them on the night then thats money lost. dj is unfriendly unless you are female under 25 and tries to charge for requests. a dirty stinking hole and not much sign of any rockers is more of a punk goth venue.

Very young crowd and the place is a tip. Music was ok.

I found the Venue filthy. The beer tasted off,the male toilets and floor were covered in urine and vomit, the ticket system used to buy your alcoholic drinks is a rip-off. I strongly advise you to stay away from here unless you love the smell of urine and vomit.
