The newly refurbished Mono is ..the latest addition to the increasing \'urban living\' vibe in Belfast\'s city centre comes in the form of stylishly intimate mono bar restaurant.
The essentials at mono are: friendly service, mouth-watering menus, indulgent cocktails and drinks, and an avant-garde music policy all of which are promoting the finest in homegrown ingredients.
Dazzlingly deluxe it\' interior impresses with a low curved ceiling suitably set in a cream and mocha surround. We have not neglected comfort, immediately evident when sinking into our bed-like low leather seating allowing for an ambient relaxed atmosphere - a quality all too often lost in new venues.
Music is such an important attribute of mono it\'s sole policy remains varied and inventive borrowing from jazz soul, funk, r\'nb\', hip hop and house. Evening entertainment is provided from Thursday to Sunday when mono plays host to some of Belfast\'s finest eclectic DJs and musicians.
Add to that our mouth-watering food menu. Whether it is lunch on the go or a chilled meal with friends our bold statement of contemporary meals with familiar ingredients sourcing local and high quality products are perfectly placed in 21st century surroundings.

I have been to Mono number of times with friends and no one has had any negative word about the place. The food has been good and staff very friendly. I have found the drinks same price as anywhere else in Belfast. Great place to go with friends and is not normally over crowded and you don't have to fight to get to the bar.

I have been to Mono on tweo different occassions, both at the weekends and both times it was woeful.
the first time i was charged £10 entry fee which i thought was steep but i then sat beside the door and wtinessed the bounceer and the girl taking the money decide as people cam in what they were to be charged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!
some people it was £10, some £5!!!!!
Never be back, horrible staff, horrible atmosphere.

mono is the best spot in belfast. was at its new restaraunt last weekend it was amazing!!!
