This place is rough as, and has been on a downward tragectory since 2001. Now all manner of thugs and druggis inhabit the place. Though eo be fair it's usually pretty empty anyway.

Was at Milk last night and it was very good. It was my first time going and I thought it was going to be full of smicks and millies but it wasn't. No problem getting a drink because the service was quick, doormen where nice to me but they werent letting anyone in with id. I would reccommend it to anyone :)

Last Sunday we were in teh botanic inn and once it shut at 12 we recieved a flyer from a lovely girl out side the bot for milk. She informed us that it was £5 in and there were numerous drinks promotions, bottles for £2. so after a quick burger we headed in a taxi costing £6 to Milk. When we arrived we were informed it was £7 entry and the guy collecting the entry money said that there was budweiser, wkd breezers and vodka for £2, this was at approx 12.30, when we got to the bar (Myself on the way was stopped by a rather ruff looking fello and asked where does one purchase pills, he got quite angry when i did nt know) once we got to the bar we were informed that the promotions finish at 12, which was not what the guy selling the tickets on the door said. since the only reason we went up there was because of teh drinks promotions we decided to leave, it was very rough in there as well and we did not feel safe. upon exit we asked the ticket seller why he told us that the drinks promotions were still on when we arrived at 12.30. He replied by tryin to convince us that we were there before 12, which was riduclous. The manager then came, a extremely rude woman, and proceeded to shout profanaties at us and yell where else in belfast is open at this time. We were not concerened about where was open only as to why we were told that there was drinks promotions when there was not. Ill never go to Milk again, this must be one reason why it is empty sometimes and full of shady characters.

Music was quite good but the glasses were filthy- they smelt disgusting
Also have to agree with the comment below, when the upstairs opened it was full of people pulling all sorts of mad faces.

Only good thing about Milk is that it's the only place open late over the weekend in Belfast (6am) otherwise avoid like the plague unless you want to talk to artificial snobs or ones who are so off their heads on E and coke you couldn't even have a decent conversation with!

My oh my, how Milk has disintegrated into the depths of despair! Milk marked the epitome of club culture circa 2000, Sunday nites with Jay Kay were renowned and no matter how hard management tries this experience simply cannot be replicated! A real disappointment though because the venue itself is immense, presently it houses what is commonly known as ?home-boys?- forgive me, I am not aware of the contemporary classifications!

I agree that Milk is now poor. It used to be a fantastic place a couple of years ago, but it went to the dogs.
