madisons is a great bar to visit if you want a quiet drink or a good night out. iv been going for about 4 years now and always have a great time. the staff are always very friendly and chatty, and the bar men are quite cute too.

Prompt, friendly and attentive bar staff. Only go if you are at least 40yrs old and divorced. Some very rough women and some very leechy men. Not my cup of tea at all. Oh, and the band kept wanting to know what time it was - they must have wanted to escape also.

Madisons upstairs bar still gets a decent crowd, but can get really packed on a Saturday night. But anytime I go to Madisons is for the disco downstairs. It used to get a nice decent older clientele, who were out to party, dance and have a good time.

I decided to try it out last night, the music's still good but punters are now very ROUGH. The girls are mostly complete mills, who have youngsters at home, and have tatoos, and the men are buster bloodvessel lookalikes. What a complete change from the Madisons I used to know and like. For a night out I seem to be restricted now to the Cathedral Quarter, which is a shame.
