Great wee bar for the more affluent amongst us. My only gripe would be the music, avoid if the Red Hot Roosters are on, terrible band. Too loud, music for the older crowd and very cheesy! More suited to Rumpoles. Go if you see Lazy Days or Real Shindig are on. Very good!! Staff all very friendly and I am including the bouncers in that which is a rarity for Belfast!

myself and four others went to lilys on saturday ev we had a great time the music a shade loud but ok we were attended to by a lovely co lietrim girl very easy on the eye the food was great i had the burger corismo and my friends had the muscles agreat evening had by all i will call again

We visited Lilys on saturday 3rd September for a 7.15 sitting, got the menus straight away, however didn't get served until 30mins later, service was woeful for the whole night, main course was good, but it was totally spoilt by the non existant service, we were still waiting on a bill at 11:30, even then someone else's bar bill was added onto ours, would not recommend this place.

I went to Lily's restaurant with a group of friends for a girls' night a couple of weeks ago. What a fantastic night we all had. The atmosphere was sophisticatedly "cool" and very classy. The food was delicious and served by friendly unobtrusive staff. The band, Jackamo, had us dancing until late with a set ranging from Beatles to jazz. We all agreed that it was the best night out we'd had for a long time and have already made a booking for next month - can't wait.

What a pretentious pile of poo - absolutley no atmosphere, grumpy staff, far too expensive and up it's own arse. I agree with previous comment made by yummy about the staff, I would not fancy working with them either.
Will definately not be back.

Had a few drinks in this bar recently with my girlfriend. It is a very classy place. I Loved the atmosphere and the comfortable surrounding.
We will be back to try out the food which looked very good.

i was recently in Lilys and had a meal with my girlfriend,the surroundings are beautiful and well put together but that is the good points of my visit,the food...where do i start! i see people ranting about how nice the chips were,im a chef and i know that my chips were under blanched that day,crunchy! my partner had the soup,it was cold and lumpy,like school dinners custard,not nice. We raised this matter with our waiter and we were told that the chefs always send the soup out like this,not even an explaination as to why it was lumpy,very disappointed,i seriously doubt i will visit for food

Great place, sat all saturday afternoon listen to great music, food was first class the fish and chips are legendary. One critisim is it was a bit on the cold side, however one of the staff explained the heating had broken down that afternoon. Will defo be back again real soon.

Honestly, the food was fantastic (a wee bit small but still good).
I have one small problem though. The manageress needs to go on a customer service course, her attitude towards the other staff is horrendous. My husband and i both remarked to ourselves that we would both be terrified to work with her.

Had a meal two Saturdays in a row and it was lovely. I love the steak and the chips are very tasty. Stayed over four hours listening to the singer and enjoying the surroundings. Staff were very attentive. Meal was very reasonably priced. Will be back for sure.

We went for lunch on Saturday and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we stayed for most of the afternoon, friendly staff, delicious food and superb entertainment in a unique and brilliantly designed venue, well done Lily’s, we’ll definitely be back soon.

I went for food last week and I must say it was really really good! Our waiter looked after us really well and the decor is nice (not ground breaking but nice). The one major problem we had was when the manageress (who we had not seen all evening) appeared and decided to chastise our waiter in front of us! It was totally unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable to the point that we felt it best to settle our bill and leave! All in all it was an ok experience.

Went there last week with a friend. Really enjoyed the food, wine and ambience. Found the staff v. friendly. Really good band and all in all, a great evening and have recommended it to friends.

I went for dinner on a sunday evening. 8 of us were in the party. half of us got steaks the other half got a selection of items. The steaks are amazing, very very nice.
I had a large salt chilli squid as a main. It was very disappointing and very poor value for money.The taste was over poweringly of curry powder.I did say this to our waitress, her reply was 'at least it was edible'. That was me told.
All in all some highlights, some disappointments re:food.
When we went to pay, the bill was wrong. We had been undercharged by £20.So we told our waitress, who made us all go to the front of the bar to pay (the fact the credit card machine was wireless did not seem to sink in). She could not grasp the bill being wrong and stared blankly at us, before calling a colleague and her manager- they instantly assumed we were complaining, so instantly developed an attitude. It then took 15mins to explain and then to pay. At one point the manager miscalculated (again) and insisted we still owed money and said' listen I just want the £38!'. They never thanked us for our honesty or our custom.
The manager did ask if the food was ok, so 3 of us who had the squid as a main said that it was too small and was curry flavoured, he said 'i don't think so, wise up its salt and chilli'!!! Bearing in mind we had already paid and were not looking compensated but just giving feedback to this'new' establishment. His attitude was very wrong!
Mean while a man in the queue to pay asked us if we were complaining about the squid, he had the same problem, it was too small, bad value and he was still hungry, he also thought it tasted of curry!!! The manager remained unyielding.
In summary, nice restaurant, generally nice food if you like small portions. However, the staff and managers attitude really put me off. It is never nice to be argued with when you are trying to give honest feedback especially after pointing out you were under charged!!!
